I've just submitted to Apple SCraMP v.3.0 with the much requested ability to record data!  Teaser screen shots are below...

SCraMP v2.0

v2.0 is live in the app store now!  Based on user feedback I've given you a great deal more ability to control what you see, and how you see it!  Also included is a fifth screen providing location data: latitude, longitude, course, and speed.  Hope you'll update to v2.0 and provide some feedback for v3.0!

That's it, she's live, woohoo!  And she's free: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scramp/id456343416?ls=1&mt=8

And once you've downloaded her and given her a test, please give me some feedback on my user survey at: https://docs.google.com/a/vesseldynamics.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dG9TNEJjdjlBeThBVy1oYjZGV05kSlE6MQ.  I will use your feedback to make future versions bigger and better!

(Stay tuned--v2.0 is already in the app store approval queue incorporating GPS and an enhanced GUI...)

SCraMP

I just submitted to the app store v1 of a Small Craft Motion Program (SCraMP).  Sample screenshots are below.  It's a pretty simple app that draws off the amazing hardware our modern phones have become (seriously, accelerometers, gyro, and non-trivial on-board computing power in a relatively cheap handheld device--it's madness!).  With any luck SCraMP will get accepted by the app store, and hopefully it will do some real good for the small craft and fishing communities.
